KIKI: Conversations on the Art of Drag

I created collateral print material for a proposed exhibition I titled Kiki. Kiki is meant to be an exhibition that features drag queens of color, whose talents tend to be overshadowed by drag queens that are white. The word Kiki grew from queer black latino culture to refer to a social gathering, for the purpose of gossip or chit-chat. This convention emphasizes this importance of conversation and making connections between the featured queens and attendees through the events that were planned throughout a three day span of the convention.

Here, I designed a save the date flyers, an invitation booklet and rsvp, name badges, as well as the packaging which these materials were meant to be mailed in.
